Raised on the Central Coast

Our story runs generations deep, a tale of dedication to the land.

As a fourth-generation farmer, Melinda – Rancher’s Daughter Founder, is no stranger to the trials and tribulations of a life dedicated to agriculture. This life and the people who share it are what drove her to create Rancher’s Daughter. More than a vodka, a means to give back to the community that helped shape her and a great reason to celebrate a hard day’s work with a well-deserved cocktail.

Four Generations

Melinda was raised on California’s Central Coast, a fourth-generation farmer and rancher shaped by her upbringing and a deep respect for the land and the people who work it.

Years ago, she dreamed up the idea for Rancher’s Daughter—not just as a vodka, but as a way to honor that way of life and carry it forward.

What started as a quiet notion grew into a purpose: to create a true American vodka, handcrafted in California in small batches, that reflects the grit and grace she was raised on.

At its heart, this brand is her way of giving back—to the ag community that built her, taught her, and continues to inspire every bottle.

“Ginger”

A Rancher’s Daughter Icon

Ginger is a gussied-up 1974 Ford Bronco with a story as rich as the land that inspired it. Meticulously restored with care and respect for its heritage, Ginger blends vintage grit with a touch of Rancher’s Daughter charm—equal parts workhorse and showpiece. Acquired by Melinda in 2025, she quickly became more than just a vehicle; she’s a rolling symbol of the brand’s roots, resilience, and unmistakable style.

From dusty backroads to lively gatherings, Ginger carries the spirit of Rancher’s Daughter wherever she goes, turning heads and sparking conversations along the way. She stands as a nod to the past while celebrating the present—a reminder that good things are built to last when they’re made with intention and heart. Keep an eye out for Ginger at upcoming Rancher’s Daughter events, where she’ll be parked front and center, ready to welcome you in for a story, a sip, and a little slice of the ranching life.
